Horror, your way.
Horror comics can unsettle you before anything moves. A page turn hides the reveal; a patch of black leaves you deciding what might be inside it. These shelves separate the source of the fear—bodies, haunted places, other people, or your own perception—so you can choose the kind of unease you want to spend time with.

What kind of fear stays with you?
Dread or pursuit?
Psychological horror lets uncertainty accumulate. Survival horror puts the danger in motion and asks how anyone gets through it. Start with the pace you want, rather than how frightening a cover looks.
Follow the art
The art-driven shelf is about how a page creates fear: invasive color, unstable layouts, or a clean line that makes something grotesque impossible to dismiss. It overlaps with other kinds of horror because drawing changes the experience.
Choose your intensity
Body horror foregrounds physical transformation; gothic and folk horror often build around places, inheritance, and community. Those labels describe the appeal, not a guarantee of mild content. Check the content note when a review is available.
