Gabriel Rodríguez is the artist and co-creator of Locke & Key with writer Joe Hill. His work on Welcome to Lovecraft is joined by Jay Fotos’ colors and Robbie Robbins’ lettering, building the visual world of Keyhouse and the Locke family.

Rodríguez lets memory occupy the same space as the present in Welcome to Lovecraft. A reflection can hold the attack while Tyler stands beside his sister; a page can connect Kinsey’s survival to her life at school. Look, too, at the diagonal view opening Keyhouse around Bode. Architecture gives the discoveries room while faces keep the family’s experience close.
