A closer look · Our reading of the work
What to look for
Wytches asks its lettering to share a page with dense linework and color that spills across boundaries. Try tracing the dialogue without stopping at the images, then return to the whole page. The reading order gives you a route through that visual agitation. Notice, too, how an intimate exchange needs a different pace from a scene of immediate physical fear.
